If you need a last minute Mother’s day gift, this is so perfect & easy!
For the past couple of weeks Alexa & I have been in the Foods Lab working on our Experimental Foods project for class. Thankfully while we waited for our brownies to bake we decided to bake some lemon cake! Which was perfect because we decided to use these for our Mother’s Day presents! I got the recipe from Buzzfeed who did an article on “Poke hole” cakes. This recipe was from Carls Bad Craving, we just tweaked it up by not poking holes in it.
It’s honestly an easy recipe with just a few ingredients! If you are feeling something lemony don’t hesitate on trying out this recipe! You can honestly make them whatever size you want. The original recipe called for a bundt pan, but instead we did loaf pans and mini cupcakes! So whatever works for you, just bake away!
